The AMB@R project presented at the Science@Sail event

From August 8-11, 2024, Science@Sail took place at the Hanse Sail in Rostock, where researchers from the Universität Rostock presented their work.

At the Rostock University Medical Center booth, visitors were introduced to several key projects from the Comprehensive Cancer Center MV, including initiatives in cancer prevention and personalized medicine. Colleagues Kathrin Thiele and Hugo Murua Escobar presented the Advanced Modelling of Baltic cancER e-care AMB@R project, funded by the Interreg South Baltic Programme which aims to enhance cancer care in rural areas through digital solutions.

The Universität Rostock team was honored to welcome Stefanie Drese, the Minster of Social Affairs, Health, and Sports of the federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, as well as Prof. Prommer, Rector of the University of Rostock, Dr. Stehle, Medical Director of University Medicine, and Prof. Emmert, spokesperson for CCC-MV at the Rostock site.
