“Cooperation between Klaipėda University and Ukrainian higher education institutions is very important. In this way we can not only share scientific knowledge and experience, but also express our support for Ukraine. We already have 9 lecturers, 2 researchers, and 1 specialist from Ukraine. There are about 100 students, and this year we have received another 40 applications from Ukrainian students”, says Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aida Norvilienė, the Vice-Rector for Studies.
By signing the agreement, both parties agreed on scientific cooperation, joint scientific and research activities, as well as international student and teacher exchanges.
Klaipėda University has expressed its strong support and commitment to Ukraine since the beginning of the war. The latest agreement is a symbol of continued cooperation and support. This is the sixteenth agreement between KU and Ukrainian higher education institutions.
During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Norvilienė and Prof. Dr. Rimantas Balsys, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, presented Klaipėda University, study programs, and the main areas of research to the guest.
