“This is very good news for Klaipėda, for the Klaipėda University community, and for the young people of our region, because we will have the opportunity to continue creating an international European University. This means better quality of studies, joint degree programs, more scientific innovations, and more opportunities for researchers and students to participate in exchange programs, share knowledge and experience, use common databases, and generate new ideas and business solutions that are not limited to the boundaries of one university, one city, or one country. Nine partner universities united in EU-CONEXUS, all from European coastal cities, are a multinational and huge force, whose statistics are impressive: over 71,000 students, over 8,000 researchers and academics, and almost 1,000 degree programmes.
