THE Impact Rankings assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, 2,152 universities from 125 countries were ranked. KU scored 64.5-69.8 points. The university shares 601-800 places with other higher education institutions around the world.

KU scored highest in the following categories: Quality Education (75.9 points), Partnerships for the Goals (59.9-67.4 points), Gender Equality (48.2-55.2 points), and Reduced Inequalities (47.2-56.4 points).

KU’s impressive ranking in SDG4, Quality Education, is 79 out of more than 2,000 universities assessed. And in SDG14 Life Below Water, KU shares a high ranking of 201-300.

KU has a long history of working consistently to address sustainability challenges.
